Human Capability
As an AUTODIDACTIC (self- taught) person, I have always found it hard and slow for “ME” to get to a point of WISDOM (the ability to make accurate decisions to act upon). It takes of huge amounts of LIFE EXPERIENCES (all my doings over my life), INFORMATION (thoughts from many) and KNOWLEDGE (my applied information) before I feel confident to take a position on anything. Over the last 5 years, I have been experiencing the concept of developing an education business. I now can say with complete Wisdom that Life…..
Begins with… “ME”
In every venture (personal or work) or job, there is a starting point, and that point is always
“ME…
Meaning… “You”
I am all about systems and the processes and what they entail. They are the fundamental starting points of EVERYTHING I do—and I do mean everything. This is what lies behind the multi-million dollar businesses I’ve built around the world.
What lies behind them is…
“ME.”
I believe all systems start knowing that all humans live in a finite UNIVERSE and are born into a Human Circumstance that is the ENVIRONMENT of any Human life.
“ENVIRONMENT is GREATER than “ME”
Systems always go to Processes and both make-up a duality of 1.
All Humans live inside a Space. The Space is always their
“ENVIRONMENT”.
Once I know the Space, I watch the ENERGY-FLOW.
Energy in Motion is the Process.
“ENERGY-FLOW”
Systems are always inward thoughts/agreements of a human or business (IN). The system sets out the agreements that a human works to in any SPACE. The System is the Tensegrity or Tension-Integrity of every thought or agreement.
Tensegrity is the pattern that results when push and pull have a win-win relationship with each other. The pull is continuous and the push is discontinuous. The continuous pull is balanced by the discontinuous push producing integrity of tension compression.
Buckminster Fuller explained that these fundamental phenomena were not opposites, but complements that could always be found together. He further explained that Push is Divergent while Pull is Convergent. Tensegrity is a pair, like many co-existing pairs, of fundamental Physical Laws – Push and Pull – Compression and Tension – Repulsion and Attraction.
Imagine pushing a Ping-Pong ball on a smooth table with the point of a sharp pencil. The ball would always roll away from the direction of the push, first rolling one way then the other. Push is Divergent.
Now imagine the difference, if you attach a string to the ping pong ball with tape, and pull it toward you. No matter how other forces might influence the ball to roll away from you, the string would always bring it to you more and more directly. Pull is Convergent.
Another example from common experience occurs when we are pulling a trailer with a car. When driving uphill, one is pulling against gravity. The trailer Converges into a course behind the car. If the trailer begins to sway, increasing pull by increasing acceleration can dampen the swaying motion.
Driving downhill, however, the trailer may begin to Push. This produces a strong side to side force – Divergence. The trailer will begin to sway from side to side. Push again, is Divergent. When the trailer begins to push, experts advise to accelerate slightly in order to re-establish Pull. Pull is convergent, and the trailer will straighten course. From B. Fuller
Tension: Becomes how far can the Space of the business stretch to get optimal performance/outcomes?
Integrity: Integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. From Wikipedia
INVISIBLE

If you want to make real change, don’t look to change a Human.
Rather look to create better ENVIRONMENTS for the Human to live in
by the thinking and the SYSTEMS/PROCESSES=1 that are deployed in any business Space.
SYSTEM: are a combination of:
Related parts organized into a complex whole,
Scheme of ideas or principles by which something is organized,
Method or set of procedures for achieving something, the use or result of careful planning and organization.
Examples: METRIC-SYSTEM, ACCOUNTING- SYSTEM, or MONEY-SYSTEM
Or In My Case, Connecting the DOTS of Business.
SYSTEMS/PROCESESS=1
DUALITY: something consisting of 2, a situation or nature that has two states or parts that are complementary or opposed to each other, the theory that both wave and particle theory account for the behaviour of matter and energy under different conditions. Examples: GRAIN OF SAND (micro) - BEACH OF SAND (macro) =1, MACRO-MICRO=1, or BUSINESS-MARKETPLACE=1.
The dual part of a SYSTEM (“IN”) is the PROCESS (“OUT”). In other words, one does not exist without the other. Ever system has an action. That action brings the invisible to the visible and becomes a pattern of behavior. Here is the part that gets confusing. A great system goes invisible by the ease that it creates in a Space. It is the invisible that creates a “MORE with LESS” outcome leading to long term arrangements. In other words, it takes less energy to perform the same task.
Process is always the movements that are created in a SPACE, both physical and Meta-physical.
PROCESS: a series of:
Actions directed towards a specific aim, a
Series of natural occurrences that produce change or development,
FOLLOWING somebody or something according to an established procedure. Examples: MEASURING-DISTANCE, RECORDING-TRANSACTION, or DEPOSIT-MONEY Wikipedia
Is a Meta-Physical action…. The 4 coloured DOTS are a system of thinking. When the brain sees the DOTS it will start to relate to;
COST TIME ACTIVITIES EXCHANGE
Here is the thing…. when implementing new Systems/Processes=1, it takes ENERGY and TIME far greater that what is already there. Failure to understand this will lead to failure in a new System/Process=1.
It my experience, it takes at less 3 times the energy and 90 days in time to manage a new System/Process=1 to success. The energy is to hold the space of the behaviour and the time is between the visible and the invisible and is called Lag.
LAG: period of time between one cycle’s activities related to other cycle’s activities. The greatest power in a Humans life could be in understanding and managing “LAG”!
The Importance of Lag: “Ignoring lag, its requirements, and its consequences is perhaps the greatest organizational impediment facing any enterprise. More than any other ‘dynamic’ that the individuals or team must work through to survive in rapid-change times, lag is a ‘Make or Break’ phenomenon.”
“The Quality expert States that 80% of any enterprise’s problems is the system.” Edwards Demming points out that most systems are not designed to accommodate the effects of Lag. From Dudley Lynch, “Strategies of the Dolphin”.
In a complex world that is moving at speeds that are misunderstood by the average human, there is a real requirement to set-up thinking Systems and Processes that allow each human to live to the Capacity of their life by increasing their Capabilities on Vital Daily Basis.
Let me give you an example:
I have been consulting to a large multi-national on setting up a new division inside their organization. The idea is that the multi-national wants to set-up a service division of contractors to service existing clients and develop new business.
My first question I always ask when consulting is: Where do we start?
My answer is…..always start at the beginning.
The beginning for “ME” is always……. WHY am I (human/business) doing this?
What I watch and experience is the how human/business will do this.
In my mind, to first look at the how is starting in the middle of something rather than at the beginning.
I watch time after time after time, events starting in the middle of the event, assuming that everyone know why they are doing what they are doing.
I find that 90% of every event is already there in a generic form. There really is less than 10% change required. The real issue is that 90% compared to 10% is huge in the scheme of every event happening.
Example: If you have 90 lbs in weight, compare it to 10 lbs of weight and how much more ENERGY is required to hold the 90 pounds compared to the 10 lbs. Not even close in how much ENERGY is required.
All new events are always in competition to what already exists. So it you want to affect change in any event, it takes More Energy and More Time to change Inertia Forces to create “More-with-Less Power”.
Start with WHY and HOW works itself out by the context that is set-up in the WHY!!!!
