WORDS - leading Calibrators
WORDS: a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation that functions as a principal carrier of meaning.
LANGUAGE: is the human capability for acquiring and using complex systems of communication and a language is any specific example of such a system. The scientific study of language is called linguistics. productivity displacement animal communication. From Wikipedia
COMMUNICATION: (from Latin commūnicāre, meaning "to share" ) is the activity of conveying information through the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, visuals, symbols, signals, written, or behaviour. It is the meaningful exchange of information between two or more living creatures. From Wikipedia
LEADING: first SYSTEM/ PROCESS=1 in a communication exchange between Humans.
CALIBRATORS: measurements to test and adjust the accuracy of a measuring one against another Happening.
WORDS are the first industrial tools, for inherently they involve a plurality of people and are also inherently prior to relayed communication and integration of the respective experiences of a plurality of individuals. This is reminiscent of the scriptural account, “In the beginning of Industrialization, through the relayed experience of all people – permitted through the individualization of the spoken and written word-

Fred Korzybski is remembered for developing the theory of GENERAL SEMANTICS. Korzybski's work argued that human knowledge of the world is limited both by the human nervous system and by the structure of language.
Korzybski's work maintained that human beings are limited in what they know by:
- The structure of their nervous systems, and
- The structure of their languages.
After a few weeks of writing Struggledork lessons, I realised that unless I gave my definition of words, I would confuse more Humans by the complexity of my understanding and words used to convey my thoughts. I now make it a practise in everything I write to give my best understanding of a word for the meaning I want to attach to any given word.
If words are a leading calibrator, the fastest way to change Humans is the words that I use. There is a school of thought that forecasts that the words used by the end of the 21st century will change dramatically from the words used today.
Academic consensus holds that between 50% and 90% of languages spoken at the beginning of the twenty-first century will probably have become extinct by the year 2100. From Wikipedia
The Bronze Age in the ancient Near East began with the rise of Sumer in the 4th millennium BC. Cultures in the ancient Near East (often called, "the cradle of civilization") practised intensive year-round agriculture, developed a writing system, invented the potter's wheel, created a centralized government, law codes, and empires, and introduced social stratification, slavery, and organized warfare. Societies in the region laid the foundations for astronomy and mathematics.
What this is telling “ME” is that word communication as a SYSTEM/PROCESS=1 is really only 5 000 years old.

You guessed it!
Human communication and understanding of what really has happened is 99.9% invisible or we have had less than 0.000111% visible, touchable experience of planet earth as a group of humans.
Or:
As an individual Human in this moment in the entire human civilization experience, each human has a 1-2% visible touchable experience as their part in civilization. 70 (an approximate lifespan of a human) divided by 5000 = 1.2000%.
(In the Bible, 70 was expressed as 3 score (1 score is 20 years, 3 score equals 60 years) plus 10 years = 70. As a boy when I asked my grandfather, “How are you today?”, he would always answer, “I have my share and more than most. I’m well past 3 score and 10”. He died at 87…. Sorry Selma….. another man story).
That then leads to the importance of WORDS in the evolution of human kind. If you want to change, watch carefully your words and their meaning to a happening or experience with another human or group of humans.
With the speed of information/communication, the words and symbols are far more important now than at any point in human history. Words have become the tension strength of humanity and can create designed futures by MIND-LEAD-EVOLUTION!
Evolution: the gradual development of something from simple to a more complex form. Not good or bad, right or wrong; more in number of included relationships developed over time.
Human Evolution
Survival: Staying alive, remaining alive or in existence, mitigating life-threatening danger, or continuing in a present position of safety and security. Struggle to remain living.
Prosperity: The condition of wealth, success and great fortune. Economic notions of prosperity often compete or interact negatively with health, happiness, or spiritual notions of prosperity.
Social surveys show that an increase in income does not result in a lasting increase in happiness; one proposed explanation to this is due to hedonic adaptation and social comparison, and a failure to anticipate these factors, resulting in people not allocating enough energy to non-financial goals such as family life and health.
Abundance: Fullness of spirit and a fulfilled soul. Beyond prosperity of the individual, a sense of meaning and prosperity for Omni Humanity create a Universe of Futures.
NB: “Evolution Survival Prosperity Abundant” are not my words combination. They are however what I think and are better phrased than I would put together….all come from my reading of Bucky Fuller.
My thoughts have changed over the last 20 years. Studying Buckminster Fuller’s “Critical Path” and “Synergetics” has allowed me a very different thinking on most matters, thus creating different points of view.
My thoughts below:
AWARENESS = REFLECTION-MIRRORED SPACE. What the “BRAIN” records, “That is there in my environment”,
And
“PRESENCE”= N.P.P. (Net Present Position): Changed “MIND ANGLE” = REFRACTION. “CREATES FUTURE SPACE”
UNITY is PLURAL and at MINIMUM of 2: BRAIN/MIND=1
AWARENESS/PRESENCE=1
DUALITY: the fact that EVERYTHING has two aspects or parts to = 1 whole
1. We live a FINITE EXISTENCE that allows for INFINITE POTENTIAL
2. All Humans are a wonderful UNIVERSE DESIGN
3. Humans are designed to be TUNERS, both TRANSMITTING and RECEIVING
4. Humans are designed to be ABUNDANT
5. Every Human is a UNIVERSE DESIGNED MIRACLE/GENIUS and has a very unique opportunity to BE all they can BE.
6. The most important part of being a GENUIS is understanding your “ME”
7. I’d rather be UGLY than GOOD or BAD…… GREAT is my preferred option
8. There is no GOOD or BAD, RIGHT or WRONG…. just degrees of tolerating points of view
9. I FEEL FIRST and then FORM THOUGHTS from MY FEELINGS, taking action (or not) by the combination of FEELING AND THINKING
10. I love playing the GAME of BUSINESS and TAKING RISK whilst I play the game.
What I have studied over the last 20 years and feel confident will CREATE MY FUTURES are:
- LIFE begins only with OTHERNESS. “You, We, Other, Environment”
- “MY LIFE” begins with AWARENESS of ENVIRONMENT – including “SPACE and CIRCUMSTANCE”
- HUMANS are UNIVERSE TUNING DEVICES: TUNING IN, OUT, BETWEEN and AROUND.
- UNITY is PLURAL and at MINIMUM of 2. ME +YOU=1. No “You” = no need for “ME”.
- I find that people only listen to you when they ask you to talk to them
“SELF INTERESTED CIRCUMSTANCE”
- HUMANS can CREATE FUTURES
- HUMANS move TOWARD something whilst moving AWAY from something else at the same time.
- EXPANDING could lead to Contraction somewhere else
- HUMANS are Paradoxical in and of themselves
- AWARENESS+PRESENCE=1 ability to create arranged futures
- Humans have the ability to REFLECT ON and REFRACT AT A MIND ANGLE to create new futures.
COSTS/EXCHANGE=1 As HUMANS, “WE” are always EXCHANGING and there is always a level of COST in every exchange.
Nothing is FREE!
Words are one of human’s most powerful tools and can become forceful weapons of mass destruction if not fully understood by each human.
As a SYSTEM/PROCESS=1 in all the “Struggledorks” writings, when I don’t fully understand a word or a phrase, I always look-up the word and use the definition that most suits my thought at the time of my writing. What that discipline has taught me is around my poor understanding of words that I have read or use, either in my speaking or writing. Now more than ever, I understand the power of words and the way Humans can create futures by calibrating words and their meaning.
