LEARNING by EXPERIENCE and live LIFE with “ENERGY IN MOTION”
TEACHING: to impart information, knowledge or a skill. Teaching is always an outward transmission of human energy from one human to another human at a point “IN-TIME”. Receiving of the teaching by the student is no sure thing. The student must be willing to “TUNE-IN”!
EDUCATION: is the experience of the teaching when the teacher provides the information, knowledge or the skill as a transmission AND the student receives the broadcast. When this happens, the student brings the teaching into their awareness and starts to experience the information, knowledge, information or skill from a point of being PRESENT. It is at this point of time that the teaching will start to convert to wisdom by the EXPERIENCE the receiver of the teaching EXPERIENCES. (This is why JD Struggledork’s lessons are always “EXPERIENCE of the EXPERIENCES” ………I don’t write about any situations that I have not EXPERIENCED! As crazy as my writings are …… I always come from my own EXPERIENCES or “MY-WISDOM”).
EXPERIENCE: involvement over time; active involvement in an activity or exposure to events or people over a period of time that leads to an increase in knowledge or skill. Now the teaching becomes IN-ME WISDOM. The great design of humans is that we are;
1. “TRANSMITTER-RECEIVERS”
2. INFORMATION-GATHERERS
3. WISDOM making UNIVERSE-DESIGNED
4. UNIQUE to OURSELVES G.O.D. CREATION.
WISDOM: the ability to make decisions and judgments based on personal experience….accumulated knowledge of life or of a sphere of activity that has been gained through experience…… wise thinking, judgments or action taking. WISDOM cannot be gained without EXPERIENCES that are OMNI-EXPERIENCE, meaning all around “ME”; good-bad, right-wrong must all be EXPERIENCED! In my life, I have gained more WISDOM by the mistakes I have made! In other words, I have learned more of what not to do than what to do. (= The story of JDS!).
NOW: 
immediately, at once or at this exact time. Change may well happen over time….. change happened NOW.
EXPOSURE: the experience of coming into contact with an environmental condition or social influence that has a harmful or beneficial effect. Exposure is important because by exposure, we get experience, and with the experience comes valuable knowledge that will convert to WISDOM.
Over the last few weeks, I have been travelling into Mexico and the USA to do business with Struggledork business partners. Here is the thing….. I woke-up on the morning of the 10th of February, 2014 and was very agitated about the fact we were in the second month of the calendar year and I was not into motion on the 2014 working idea. For “ME”, 2014 is the year that I apply all that I have learned in the last 25 years. As crazy as it sounds, I was born in the Chinese Year of the WOODEN-HORSE and that is my nature.
Footnote on Horse nature: January 31st 2014 will mark the year of the Wooden Horse. This will be a year of great energy and power for those who can grab hold and hang on. You won't get left in the dust if you've planted a lot of seeds in the previous Snake year (2013). The 2014 Horse will want room to run so have big dreams and goals worthy of a powerful steed and you'll ride your way to success.
I woke up wanting to run and everything around me was wandering (without a purpose or without a known destination) and every part of “ME” had to move and move NOW! This is the moment that Judy has to really love JDS and my primary relationship with Judy must be strong. I’m the most unreasonable of all humans when I get agitated…… nothing short of MOTION with RESULTS will settle down the JDS rampant horse.
On the morning of February the 10th , 2014, I got out of bed early and headed straight to my computer and start to dance on my computer key board (= My pathway to the world). I sent e-mails to USA and Mexico. (Got to love the power of the keyboard).
JDS: “I will be coming to meet with you next week. Please set-up meetings and work out who is paying for me to be there!”
USA Partner: “What the hell are you talking about coming next week? We have no plan!”
Mexican Partner: “You can’t come! We have no Plan!!!!!!!”
JDS: (To both Partners in USA & MEXICO): “We don’t need a plan……. We need MOTION and RESULTS……. You are WANDERING-GENERALITIES, talking the story and doing very little to achieve a result. See you next week”.
USA Partner: “Okay… I will play your silly game. Send details of your arrival date”.
Mexican Partner: “You can’t come!!!!” And then a list of excuses so long that a day’s work would happen from the list…NO-MOTION NO RESULT.
JDS: “I will be at the Mexico City Airport on the night of the 17th of February, 2014. Be there, no excuses, we have business to build”. I then send my airline ticket to confirm I’m coming.
Both partners think I’m crazy and question if I will really fly from Australia. They think I’m not serious and don’t say anything, but are thinking, “JDS will not fly from Australia to the USA/MEXICO for a few days and if he did, what could JDS possible do?”
JDS: Big mistake in understanding a galloping horse looking to get RESULTS. At this moment, I want to tell everybody about PROVIDENCE-(G.O.D) GUIDANCE, perceived as caring force guiding humankind.

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back.
Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.
A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man(OR HORSE) could have dreamt would have come his way.
I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets:

JDS: I did go to MEXICO and USA and it was quick and results driven. In less than a week in 2 countries, we created the following opportunities and did the following. I want you see commitment in motion.
1. JDS had meeting with contracted customers (of the franchisee) to support franchisee and the companies by giving better understanding of goals, outcomes, and arrangements. This provides future work and very clear directions for both companies and franchise. (MEXICO)
This NOW becomes:
2. JDS spends the nights in MEXICO training the PARTNERS AND FRANCHISEES in the Icons of SP-WW franchise. When there is not much time allocated, Focus is the order of the day. Time in a human’s life has NOW become meaningless unless it is focused to RESULTS. (Especially in business matters). All humans are very AWARE of the world around them and are bombarded with choices to make. The opportunities all around us humans cause indecision most time, meaning no action or inertia (Inertia is the resistance of any physical object to any change in its state of motion). Here is the thing….. “indecision is the decision”!! NO-DECISION NO MOTION is what ends up being the happening! For 3 nights after business hours, SP-WW franchisees must be in training sessions. They must apply the training the next day to make sure they are educated. Making mistakes is all a part of learning. Most times, no mistakes means less learning! You can’t learn less, MISTAKES or NO MISTAKES. It is all learning by APPLICATION of the TEACHING! JDS always learns by his mistakes. We teach 3 Icons: the one above and the 2 below.
Over the next few weeks, I will explain these Icons. Back to this week’s lesson…….
3. During the days in Mexico, we meet with opportunities. As an Entrepreneur, I know most Humans will not understand “ME”…… that is a part of being an entrepreneur. I know that to get my ideas understood, I must go to the highest authority of any idea. To me the highest authority is University in any country. Universities really are the centre of all social physic. I also know that very few universities really understand entrepreneurial ventures. There is a genuine disconnect (albeit unintentional); a disconnect none the less. I get a meeting with the Dean of a famous University in Mexico City. I get a full 90 minutes of the Dean’s time = a spectacular result, just spending time with the Dean! Here’s what came of the meeting:
a. I had 2 more meetings with department heads in the areas of business and entrepreneurial studies to set-up working relationships.
b. I worked with 35 students in a 90 minute lesson on JDS’s thoughts on business.
c. I worked on and am still working on running a 1 year program at the university on ENTREPRENEURS
This is all in motion and must have FOLLOW-UP and FOLLOW THROUGH…. this is both a RESULT and an OPPORTUNITY. Results will take FOCUS and APPLIED ENERGY.
4. NOW I Believe G.O.D appears on the last day I’m in Mexico City. An opportunity appears; I don’t know why and I don’t care……..I just expect it to arrive! A meeting I did not know about or even consider possible is offered to “ME”. Only 1 problem…. I have 30 minutes to get to the meeting and it will take 20 minutes to drive to the meeting. 1 more problem…. I’m not dressed for the meeting. There is more than enough time to make it happen. Dressed and ready to go, my partner and transport arrive. My partner is panicked; “How can you possibly be prepared to meet with 30 executives of a major company JDS”? Believe “ME”……. in this moment in time, panic or fear is not what is wanted or needed. The only tool that works for “ME” is PRESENCE and the NOW! After all, that what I teach. As PRESENT as I can be, I tell my partner that I don’t know what the executives will want and yet I was designed for this moment. Whatever happens……. I will give my best of who I am and I know G.O.D. allowed for this happening and I would not be there if I was not capable. This is the reason I’m in Mexico. We had the 90 minute meeting…. I was not asked to leave. Quite the opposite in fact……using the above Icons, I explained why we would be the best product to use. OPPORTUNITY-CREATED + RESULT-PENDING. The only way I know how to sell anything is to get started to make the first sale….. no 1st sale = no 2nd sale. This is a big sale (opportunity) and will take a lot of ENERGY and TIME to make it happen. SALE-PENDING is OPPORTUNITY ….it take more ENERGY and TIME. Oh…. the opportunity is a potential 5 year multi-country contract. These kinds of opportunity don’t close on the spot or easily. There must be CONSTANT, URGENT FOLLOW-UP and FOLLOW-THROUGH.
Every part of JDS knows that I had to be in Mexico City for the meeting that appeared a mere 30 minutes before the meeting. It is my ABILITY and CAPABILITIES that G.O.D. was calling on. I do not understand PROVIDENCE or question its EXISTENCE. I do however trust in G.O.D. ! I leave this lesson with the following Peter Daniels Thought on EXPOSURE:
Remember – nothing is as final as it seems at the time. Businesses can be rebuilt, broken bodies healed. Even damages or destroyed reputations can be resurrected and financial security can be regained. There is an abundance of evidence in every city or town where someone has overcome simply by being prepared to enter into the arena one more time. This means, of course, more exposure, more risks, more experience and thankfully more knowledge.
Pointers
1. If you are without exposure, you are without experience.
2. Gain exposure and gain inexpensive experience.
3. Confront situations to strengthen resolutions.

I live most of my life in some degree of overwhelm and feeling “behind-the-eight-ball”. I like to be organised and to be seen to know what I am doing. I really don’t like either looking like I don’t know what I am doing or not knowing what I am doing. I also feel like I manage so many things that there are always too many things “pending” for something to happen or something to be decided…. I feel like there are often blockages to the smooth flow of things in my life.
I do know 3 things about managing overwhelm in my life though:
1. The times I do fully commit to something, the “blocked-up-ness” of pending jobs and much indecision seems to get unblocked and things seem to flow much faster and much more smoothly. Just one decision can unravel a whole bunch of pending things, and then the future seems much less crowded.
2. I have to experience things to get it. I don’t do very well reading about things nor hearing about things. Even though I am very risk-adverse, I know that if I just live more, experience more and have more special cases to draw from, I will learn more and be of more value to me, my family and our businesses. Once I have lived through something, I have my own understanding at a cellular level in my body and I am able to use that understanding to make better decisions in the future. It’s not that I seek new experiences (who has the time for that??)…. It’s just that if I am willing to have new experiences, make mistakes from them and get the increased special case from doing them, my capacity increases, as does my understanding.
3. If I “just do something”, things happen. Sometimes I chose to pick the one worst first and after that is done, other jobs seem so much easier. Other times, I fluff around on the periphery of the worst job, clean up my office, pay some bills etc…. but this too seems to unblock blockages. It too creates movement. All I know is that I JUST HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!
