Book 2, Lesson 14: CYCLES THINKING
WORDS:
FUTURE VISION: Seeing something in the mind’s eye that is possible in a time to come. Images or concepts in the human’s imagination that allow humans to create FUTURE ARRANGEMENTS.
CYCLE: A period of time that can be measured that shows reoccurring HABITS that form PATTERNS in a sequential happening way. Sequence of happenings or events that when human observed, can create future physical realities in a series of GOALS, OUTCOMES and ARRANGEMENTS.
HAPPENING: Are an event or situation that can be part of an awareness of a human. Happenings occur anywhere, anytime, to anyone and are often multi-disciplinary, with a non-linear narrative and the active participation of humans in any environment our circumstance humans are a part of. There is always something happening, planned or not planned.
RESULTS: Are final consequences of a sequence of actions or events expressed qualitatively or quantitatively. Possible results include advantage, disadvantage, gain, injury, loss, value and victory. There may be a range of possible outcomes associated with an event depending on the point of view, historical distance or relevance. Reaching no result can mean that actions are inefficient, ineffective, meaningless or flawed. (From Wikipedia).
GOALS: Humans directing ENERGY towards a future OUTCOME that the individual decides upon.
OUTCOMES: Are made up of a series of goals that work together and take more time and more focus than a goal heading toward an arranged future.
ARRANGEMENTS: Are made up of GOALS and OUTCOMES and are the VISIONS of an AWARE human. ARRANGEMENTS are long distance realities over TIME and SPACE, creating PREDICTIVE FUTURES.
LESSON
Wow! Did I just write these above word-thoughts (except for RESULTS)?
YES!
It has taken “ME” 20 years of studying and then experiencing what I have studied to be able to write 250 words of my understanding of my study and experiences. It is my WISDOM that is being expressed in the definitions provided in this lesson. I’m always told that humans will not understand “ME” and that I’m way too complex. I will tell “YOU” that that is very true….. I am very complex. Every human is also very complex in their own life experiences.
The lesson is my way of explaining my thoughts and experiences and it is possible that my thoughts will not mean much in each individual’s life experience. I accept that thought!
That said, I would recommend to anyone reading these thoughts that they study the words of this lesson and I believe there will be an enhanced ability to be aware of created FUTURES.
FUTURE VISION, CYCLES, HAPPENINGS, RESULTS, GOALS, OUTCOMES, ARANGEMENTS
Since 1989, I have studied a futurist by the name of R. Buckminster Fuller and a book titled “SYNERGETICS – Explorations in the Geometry of Thinking”. It has been a love and a discipline that I was not sure I was capable of doing. None the less, I’m doing it. After 20 years, I share with you what I’m 100% sure of….. WORDS are the first of Human Industrial Tools! In Fuller’s words:
Industrial tools are those which cannot be produced by one person, such as the steamship Queen Mary, the giant dynamo, a concrete highway, New York City, or even the modern forged alloy-steel carpenter’s hammer, with electro-insulated plastic handles, whose alloyed components and manufacturing operations involve thousands of people and the unique resources of several countries of Earth.
Words are the first industrial tools, for inherently they involve a plurality of people and are also inherently prior to relayed communication and integration of the respective experiences of a plurality of individuals. This is reminiscent of the scriptural account, “In the beginning of Industrialization, through the relayed experience of all people – permitted through the individualization of the spoken and written word – involves all experiences of all people everywhere in history.
And you thought I was complex? 20 years of study and I can confirm that WORDS to me are the first industrial tool. Going one step further in today’s world, WORDS are LEADING CALIBRATORS. (That thought is for another lesson!).
Okay….. get to the point of this week’s lesson John. I can hear Chris saying, “Dad, get on with it. You are boring “ME”. I have things to do, places to be”.
CYCLES THINKING
THE DESIGN OF ANY HUMAN…..
“YOU” have the ability to make CHOICES!
Last week, I started with this SYMBOL:
To “ME”, the GEARS are the CYCLES each human is a part of and the GEARS always have TIME and RULES inside an ENVIRONMENT. As HUMANS, we store the CYCLES in our BRAIN and relate with our MINDS!
The real magic starts by having an AWARENESS of the CYCLES.
It does not matter whether it is short, mid-range or long range CYCLES:
· GOALS (short range)
· OUTCOMES (mid-range)
· ARRANGEMENTS (long range)
All have STARTING and FINISHING POINTS.
That’s what makes a CYCLE!
START and FINISH POINTS can be:
1. Measured using WORDS and NUMBERS,
2. Experience that can be repeated with PREDICTIVE THINKING and even better, Multiplied by using SYMBOLS, WORDS, NUMBERS(formulas), pictures, icons, brands,
Doing “EVER MORE WITH EVER LESS”
Always divided by
3. FOCUS (Following One Course Until Successful) …..Meaning creating a FUTURE that has INTENTED GOALS, OUTCOMES, and ULITIMATELY, a CREATED ARRANGEMENT leading to DESIGNED FUTURES!
Here is my THINKING SYSTEM on how to CREATE INTENDED FUTURES:
1.CYCLES always start with INCEPTION: an act, process, or instance of beginning the commencement of a seed, idea, concept, or ARRANGEMENT. Without fail (ALWAYS!), cycles require a level of ENERGY (passive or intended). There are always energy inputs in a CYCLE….. or NO ENERGY = NO CYCLE!
2. CYCLES always start by a GERMINATION PROCESS: growth of embryonic seed, idea or ARRANGEMENT. Humans have the ability to design and to start CYCLES by understanding the “GERMINATION PROCESS”. GOALS, OUTCOMES and ARRANGEMENTS have to start with GERMINATION.
3. CYCLES always take TIME and SPACE to DEVELOP (= GESTATION PROCESS): The development process of a future seed, idea, or ARRANGEMENT always has time between (lag) processes, as my teacher/mentor, Dudley Lynch set out in his book “Strategies of the Dolphins”.
Definition of lag:
Lag: go too slow; not keep pace; fall behind; lagging
The Importance of Lag: “Ignoring lag, its requirements, and its consequences is perhaps the greatest organizational impediment facing any enterprise.
More than any other ‘dynamic’ that the individuals or team must work through to survive in rapid-change times, lag is a ‘Make or Break’ phenomenon.”

LAG to “ME” is the GESTATION PROCESS and like the GEARS OF UNIVERSE, must be in relationships with the HUMAN’S ENVIRONMENT and ULTIMELY, THE UNIVERSE that HUMANS LIVE IN. I will go one step further…… LAG is the biggest impediment for all life on planet earth. Most GOALS, OUTCOMES, or ARRANGEMENTS are still-borne because of poor understanding of the GESTATION PROCESS.
4. CYCLES must always have ending points IN TIME and SPACE, or a METABOLIC-RATE: the TIME and PLACE required for the CYCLE to START, GROW, LIVE and then DIE. As attached as I get to anything, there is always TIME, TIMING, SEQUENCE and LAG of all CYCLES. All CYCLES including SEEDS, IDEAS or ARRANGEMENTS have METABOLIC-RATES.
In my best understanding of CYCLES, these four WORD THOUGHTS (TIME, TIMING, SEQUENCE and LAG) make up LIFE and CYCLES. I’m sure that the complexities of what’s being said will keep most HUMANS from having CREATED FUTURES. It is within all HUMAN’S CAPCITY to CREATE A FUTURE!
THE QUESTION REMAINS…… HOW CAPABLE ARE “YOU”?
For the last 5 years, I have been developing the “ME PROCESS” with the understanding that each HUMAN can CREATE A FUTURE if there is an UNDERSTANDING of where that HUMAN is at in the CIRCUMSTANCE of their life!
Second question…. How truthful is that HUMAN on their CIRCUMSTANCE?
Third question…… Are you a passive victim of your circumstance?
All life starts with your “ME”.
Driving question …… How honest are “YOU” about your “ME”?
